Scores will be updated, on this website, throughout the tournament. After your last game on Saturday, please check the brackets at the gym or on the website to see what time you play on Sunday.

T-shirts will be sold at Eastmont Junior High School. They are silk screened while you wait and you get to choose from a variety of decals, shirts, sweatshirts, sweat pants, etc.

Tournament Rules

  1. Roster changes must be made at least one business day prior to the start of the tournament.
    1. Players are not allowed to play on more than one team and must be listed on that team’s roster.
  2. All teams will play a minimum of four games, 2-3 games in pool play (Friday/Saturday) and Sunday will be bracketed. Seeding will depend on how your team does during pool play.
  3. Winning teams MUST leave their score sheet at the scorekeeper’s desk otherwise they will be charged with a forfeit.
  4. In the event of a tie win/loss record during pool play, the following procedure will be followed:
    1. 1st tie breaker will be head-to-head competition, unless it is a three way tie (skip to B).
    2. 2nd tie breaker will be head-to-head point differential.
    3. 3rd tie breaker will be total point differential.
    4. 4th tie breaker will be a coin toss.
  5. High School Federation Rules will apply with the following exceptions:
    1. Technical Foul: Automatic 2 points to the opposing team and possession of the ball.
    2. Two Technical Fouls disqualifies the coach or player for the remainder of the game.
    3. Three Technical Fouls disqualifies the coach or player for the remainder of the tournament.
    4. Coach, parent or player ejection: Ejected for the remainder of the tournament and not allowed in the gym or school.

  6. Each team has 3 full time outs and 2 thirty second time outs per game.
  7. No press will be allowed if ahead by 15 points or 10 points for the 4th grade division.
  8. 4th, 5th & 6th grades will use 28.5 ball and play 7 minute quarters and 7th & 8th grades will use a regular size ball and play 8 minute quarters.  There are no tournament balls.  “Best Ball” available will be used.
  9. Overtime periods will be two minutes in length and jump ball will determine possession.  Each team will get one additional time out, plus any carryovers for each additional period.  Length of warm-up times, quarter and half time breaks are flexible and will be determined by officials at each game.
  10. Each team is required to provide a scorekeeper(free admission), a score sheet is provided.  Home team is the official book and will be determined by the officials.
  11. Running clock will be in effect in the 4th quarter of any game with a 20 point margin at the start of the 4th quarter.  Clock will stop if the margin drops below 20 points.
  12. In the event a team doesn’t show up for a game, that game will be forfeited at ten minutes past the designated start time, as determined by the officials. For seeding, the score will be recorded as 15-0 and the forfeiting team will be placed below another team if they have the same record.
